BBSA Club TEAMS: 2019 \u2013 2020 Season<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The BBSA Club Teams are competitive tournament teams, with 4 age groups: U10s, U12s, U14s, and U19s.\u00a0 Teams are competitive and kids from all over Bangkok are eligible.<\/p>\n

Players selected for these teams are required to participate in local and overseas tournaments, as well as attending practices each week. Registration in the Bangkok Baseball and Softball Association (BBSA) Divisional Program is also required, but the commitment to play on these teams means your child must attend any practices, scrimmage games and\/or tournaments, over and above participation in the Divisional Programs.<\/p>\n

Parents:\u00a0<\/strong>Participation is a significant commitment. Players will practice at least twice week, and must commit to playing in other overseas tournaments, depending on invitations received, generally 3-4 a season.<\/p>\n

School absences:<\/strong> Historically, schools have granted excused absences to student-athletes participating in the Club Program, with students making up work upon return (however, this is not guaranteed).<\/p>\n

AGE GROUPS:<\/h3>\n

U10s \u2013 cannot be 11 before 11 January, 2020
\nU12s \u2013 cannot be 13 before 31 March, 2020
\nU14s \u2013 cannot be 15 before 31 March, 2020
\nU19s \u2013 cannot be 19 before 31 March, 2020<\/p>\n

SEASONS:<\/h3>\n

1st SEASON: 1 October, 2019 to 22 December, 2019
\n2nd SEASON: 14 January, 2020 to 30 March, 2020<\/p>\n

COSTS:<\/h3>\n

Estimated at THB 15,000 for uniforms, pro coaching fees, equipment\/balls, and tournament fees for the 1st Season.\u00a0 The 2nd season cost is estimated at THB 10,000.<\/p>\n

These prices exclude<\/span> travel expenses for players and family for overseas tournaments such as airfare, accommodations and transport. The teams and tournaments are currently not sponsored or funded by participation in the BBSA. Costs are borne by the teams\/players.<\/p>\n

The coaches for the teams include a paid professional coach and parent volunteers.<\/p>\n
